The backstory: This is our neighbor's cat. I don't know her name. The neighbors moved in a few months ago, and we don't know them very well, so I didn't feel comfortable just walking on over and asking them what their cat's name is. (I thought they might think I was weird or something.) She had had kittens not too long ago, and seemed to have needed a break from them (They're in that extremely playful stage now, and I can see how 3 or 4 kittens constantly pouncing on you would get annoying). She visited me on our porch, where she could still keep an eye on her babies (that's what she was looking at in the picture). I think her breed is a Maine Coon.
